Dave Hynds   Mandolin Luthier:   S W France

Hello, welcome to my site. I now live/work, repairing mandolins and related instruments, in S. W. France. I decided at the outset to record my passion pictorially for the benefit of others with similar interests. I hope you will find my site useful, whether or not you are restoring an instrument of your own.

I sell restored mandolins and some other instruments, through ebay, under dave17120 but also here on my site. I undertake private mandolin repairs, and also buy broken instruments. I also build new instruments in the mandolin family, to order.

NB. I am now not taking any new PRIVATE RESTORATIONS until I have finished my backlog.... perhaps sometime later this year. Looking hopeful for some time in March at the moment :)
