This
is a good quality, long scale, tenor banjo, in good condition Serial
Number ‘818165’
The original
ebony fingerboard is in good condition, flat
and true, edged in white binding. It has original
frets with very little wear. The skin is almost new, very
responsive, and is in excellent condition. The
rim is has no damage and the 31 adjusters are all in place and
working well. The back is sound, sunburst-stained maple, though there
slight wear in a couple of places. It is fitted with a truss rod. The
tuners, bridge and adjustable tailpiece are in good
condition. It is playing well with a
loud, bright, melodious sound.
It has a
very good action.
No restoration has been necessary on this instrument.
Unfortunately postage will be high as it will weigh
close to 5kgs packed. |
