These are GHS ultra-light classical strings, specially designed for older, short-scale bowlbacks and suitable for more fragile instruments, and not available from most online suppliers.

Gauges are 09, 13, 20w, and 32w.

 The e'' and a' are tinned steel, and the d' and g  hexagonal steel core, silverplate wound.

Sound: descirbed as brillant and strong.

Sound: described as powerful, not metallic.

A full set of 9 double-loop end, bronze wound, strings, designed for use with watchkey (Preston) tuners.  Contains g'g' e'e' c'c'w ggw cw

NB these strings are designed for a scale length of 470mm. String length is 655mm. I can make up sets by hand to suit other scale lengths.

These are GHS light mandola strings in bright bronze, loop end, suitable for older, more fragile instruments, and not available from most online suppliers. They produce a nice warm sound and last well.

Gauges are 12, 24w, 34w, and 48w.

These are GHS octave mandolin strings, (the American term for the Irish bouzouki), in phosphor bronze, loop end, and not available from most online suppliers.

Gauges are 12, 22w, 32w, and 44w.
