Dave Hynds   Mandolin Luthier:   S W France
Hello, welcome to my site. I now live and work, repairing mandolins and other floating bridge instruments, in S. W. France. I specialize in bowlback restoration, mainly German and Italian, though I do tackle others. I decided at the outset to record my passion pictorially for the benefit of others with similar interests. I hope you will find my site useful, whether or not you are restoring an instrument of your own.

I sell restored mandolins mostly through ebay, where you can find any instruments I am currently selling under dave17120 but also here. I undertake private mandolin repairs, and also buy broken instruments. I also build new instruments in the mandolin family, to order.
